Oscilligath people missing
Last week the island of Oscilligath went silent. Our navy correspondent has informed us that the great city’s streets were empty and its market stalls in ruin. Part of the central square had collapsed insinuating a battle had occurred, but little more is known. No survivors have yet to be discovered. A merchant ship says they spotted a pirate vessel coming from near Oscilligath the next day, and are considered to be the prime suspects. This reporter had family there and will be awaiting the military report on the situation.
World noble ill
Gregory Pembleton has fallen ill. The ageing noble has been a figure in world politics since his resignation to his son Aldric nearly 20 years ago. Gregory fought during the world unification wars and held the bastion at T’Kaloo for thirty weeks during the longest island siege of the war, before aid came.
Aldric Pembleton to pass the torch
The world nobility elected official in our government will be stepping down to help with his father’s illness, in a statement by Aldric he said that it is with a heavy heart that he steps aside , but he expects much from his predecessor. “I’ll be staying on until a suitable person is elected by the other world nobility”
Plague blockaid holds
The scarlet plague is still creeping across the Brackenaw archipelago. Navy ships are maintaining a quarantine of the area. A small band of desperate pirates attempted to leave and were all heroically stopped by the navy before they could infect any other islands.
Strange stories from the terrace
We have some weird stories circulating in the terrace these days. After last months disappearance of the skeever, a few rumors are now circulating, here are the best ones;
“The whole building grew wings and flew offin the night” ~an old shop keep “i hated that place anyways, but i heard what took those poor oscilligath people hit the bar as a test” ~ageing stripper “the inn shrunk i tell you, we were the size of ants and Paeder saved us with the help of other navy, including a wonderful mer-maid. They killed a centipede the size of a house!” ~kiana pau. Whatever is the truth the skeever is no more, but some prime real estate is now on sale!
